When styling an event, we work on everything from sourcing the invitations and linens, collaborating with the florist to create the perfect color palette, and dream up unique ways to enhance the event space. So, when we were brought on to style a wedding at Central Park Boathouse, we knew there was no one better than the lovely and talented Erica from Thoughtful Day to create the custom stationery suite and Jenna from Love, Jenna for the calligraphy! We adore everything about these invitations: from the texture to the color palette and down to the hand-stitched linen fabric belly band–it was all pure perfection! Check it.
PS. make sure to head to Erica’s updated site! Gorg. xx
I couldn’t resist posting these two images Cappy Hotchkiss sent us from our wedding last weekend. That dress. It does not get better than this Monique perfection combined with a stunning bride. Later, you can catch a glimpse of the vintage inspired veil.

We just wanted to give you a quick look at the wedding Carrie produced last weekend. Here are some non-pro picks of this lovely affair. The gorg flowers were created by the incredible Bowman Dahl. Happy Tuesday!
Kelly from Florette Flower Design emailed us a few months ago and I must say that when I clicked the link to her website… I totally dug what I saw. Lovely, simple, organic flowers. They were not competing to be too structured or too fussy; they were just gorgeous in a laid-back, look how pretty I am, Southern California way. Which I love. So, today I thought, with temperatures in Manhattan confusing me into thinking that I am still in Southern California, that I would share her work with y’all.
When Victoria reached out to us we immediately fell for her images. Romantic. Vintage. Sexy. From her intimate and beautifully artistic boudoir sessions to capturing emotion on the wedding day, Victoria’s work is two parts high-fashion photography, one part W mag retro photo shoot. Here is some info about Victoria, in her own words…
As a woman and a recent bride, I know all too well how important the smallest, most minute details can be, for each and every wedding is unique in its own way. There is nothing “cookie cutter” about the most important day in a woman’s life. Everything has to be flawless: the skin, the hair, the dress, the smile, the music – everything has to be about the unique you! And of course, the last thing you should be worried about on this day is photography. I strive to really understand my clients’ needs to make sure my work appears seamless and the results exceed all expectations. I studied photography at the London College of Fashion and honed my skills by working directly with world renowned fashion and beauty photographers. A little over 2 years ago I started by own business in London doing fashion, beauty, boudoir and wedding photography and have never looked back. I have shot all over Europe since and have now moved to NYC to embark on a new and exciting adventure. What makes Victoria Janashvili Photography different? “vogue retouching”, boudoir session for the bride and creativity!
We are lucky enough to receive treats from talented vendors who want to share their creative businesses with us. Recently, we were sent a cute little ditty from a company owned by two sisters from MD & PA called Gifts for the Good Life. Loves. Little heart-shaped hand warmers. Mini hand-painted delish chocolates. A yummy smelling travel-sized candle. We had to share the love. Definitely check out their blog and site.

Santa Barbara photographer Anthony Elgort recently revamped his wedding site and we definitely recommend that you check it for an abundance of gorgeous images. Anthony is a fashion photographer, who has entered the wedding arena. He’s worked under Leibovitz, Avedon, and Demarchelier. Lucky brides. Here’s a taste…
Back in September Carrie produced a gorgeous event in Montauk. Shane Carpenter was the always-talented photographer. It was a perfect fall weekend and the photos completely capture the fabulous moments of this incredible wedding. Check out the amazing shot of her Vera dress–a personal fave. Enjoy!
