So, you may recognize today’s Daily Inspiration photo as one of our LHE SoCal weddings.  As we mentioned earlier this year, Emily & Pete’s fresh wedding was featured in Bride & Bloom magazine. We wanted to share with you the talented floral designer with whom we collaborated to make this beach-chic theme come to life. Toby is the creative force behind Lilla Bello Studios in Los Angeles and we seriously crush-on her aesthetic.  Here are some of our fave images of Toby’s work. Check it. PS. Here’s some info about Toby and her studio, in her own words, of course…

Toby Kassoy (owner/designer), a Los Angeles native, first trained to become a florist in Eugene, Oregon where she attended college. What started out as a part time job, transformed into her lifelong passion. After returning to L.A., she also spent 8 years working within the entertainment industry, while simultaneously maintaining her freelance work as a floral designer. The culmination of Toby’s experiences over the years, ultimately inspired the conception of Lillà Bello Studio in 2004…

Yay us. For the third consecutive year, we were named as The Knot’s “Best Of” 2010 for NYC Wedding Planners.  Grazie.  Two editorial features. One week. Good times.

Bride & Bloom featured one of our Real Weddings in the latest Winter Issue. Emily & Pete’s event was classic beach-chic.  A Tiffany-blue palette and perfect oceanside location of Shutters on the Beach created pure SoCal perfection. Emily is absolutely stunning! Every little detail was orchestrated by our Kelly, who also designed the event in conjunction with the wonderful Toby of Lilla Bello. Our fave detail was the adorable blue boxes filled with Krispy Kreme donuts as a favor for guests! And, Emily’s biggest piece of advice to brides in the article is to “hire a planner”!  A true testament to Kelly *loves*

Yay!  One of our most adorable weddings (& couple) was featured in the recent Winter issue of The Knot Southern California.  Dena & Adam were married last October at Mountaingate Country Club in Los Angeles.  The always-amazing Chenin Boutwell captured their day and Fiore Designs created the beautiful blooms. Chuck-t’s on the kids. Love. Check it.

We are super excited about our feature in YWD mag about advice for Hamptons weddings.  Also, sor for the lack of posts, but with two events last weekend, the Bridal Market and all the fabulous parties from Martha to Marcey @ 620 this week, the shows in between, and hanging with our friends–the always fabulous Harmony, the lovelies from Be Inspired, and Mr. Draper–who were all in town from L.A., Carrie and I have be up and down this city all week. We wanted to share with you one of our SoCal events that recently appeared in Wedding Style Guide. Such fans of this impeccably gorgeous magazine. Ashley & Rob’s wedding was stunning, taking place last fall at the fabulous Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara. *Love* Our friend, the ever-talented Mindy Rice provided the florals and Aaron Delesie captured this perfect day. Check it.

Thanks to The Knot  for the props. We are listed again this year in the”Best Of Weddings” issue for wedding planners in NYC. It is a true testament to all of the hard-work, countless hours, sleepless nights, and the over-planning that Carrie, Noah, Kelly, Kristin and Lyndsey spend each year with their clients and on their  events.  The issue hit stands yesterday, so pick up a copy.

Another handy resource for which we are also listed in the directory is New York Magazine’s “Weddings Issue.”  We are happy to say that we have been listed in the “Weddings” directory since it began listing event planners years ago.  Lyndsey also contributed to an article on tipping vendors and you can see her trippy headshot floating all over the page in the article.  NY Mag Weddings is on-stands now.

We were totally happy to pick-up the latest issue of In-Style Weddings, Spring 2009 and find a great article entitled “Project Guest List” to which Lyndsey contributed.  Lyndsey worked with the author of the article to create a comprehensive guide to planning your guest list, tips on how to stay organized, and navigating the etiquette of the entire invitation process.  Check it out if you are struggling on how to narrow down your list, or trying to determine the best way to approach the process.
