NYC/BK: What is better than combining Elvis, haircuts, and tats. Well, nothing. As avid Elvis fans, yes, we have made the pilgrimage to Graceland, the new concept of an Elvis-themed barber & tattoo shop in hispter central, i.e. Williamburg, piqued our interest. The rockabilly salon is located next to the soon-to-be Dove Parlour bar. You can rock-out to the King, get inked, and get your drink on. Sounds good to us. L.A. For all those BBQ-loving, down-home Los Angeleans out there, hit up the new traveling Southern Food Truck Willoughby Road. Willoughby Road is on the road serving up ribs, cookie sandwiches, with a side of mac & cheese. Yum. Twitter will lead you to their ever-changing location. Brills.

So, as we are beginning the process of Christmas shopping, we thought it might be helpful to share our weekly finds.  Here are two lovelies I picked up this weekend.  Le Labo has a new vintage candle.  Figue 15 is a personal fave.  And, John Derian trays are adorable, personal gifts.  I love (and own a few of) the trays with musings taken from telegrams and vintage letters, such as this list of “articles in the attic.”  So charming &  smart.

Sorry for the lack of posts this week–but we are prepping for a wedding in Montauk this weekend! Anyway, in light of our destination, we thought we’d post some images and info about our **fave** hotel & restaurant spot in Montauk–The Surf Lodge. Loves. To us, it’s like Cali in Montauk. The local surfing enthusiasts may disagree, but we’re just sayin’–it’s mellow, and not too Hamptons…

Just found the most beautifully packaged soap EVER:  Tokyo Milk.  The various designs are amazing + the scent of the soap is subtle = loves it.
