So, you may recognize today’s Daily Inspiration photo as one of our LHE SoCal weddings.  As we mentioned earlier this year, Emily & Pete’s fresh wedding was featured in Bride & Bloom magazine. We wanted to share with you the talented floral designer with whom we collaborated to make this beach-chic theme come to life. Toby is the creative force behind Lilla Bello Studios in Los Angeles and we seriously crush-on her aesthetic.  Here are some of our fave images of Toby’s work. Check it. PS. Here’s some info about Toby and her studio, in her own words, of course…

Toby Kassoy (owner/designer), a Los Angeles native, first trained to become a florist in Eugene, Oregon where she attended college. What started out as a part time job, transformed into her lifelong passion. After returning to L.A., she also spent 8 years working within the entertainment industry, while simultaneously maintaining her freelance work as a floral designer. The culmination of Toby’s experiences over the years, ultimately inspired the conception of Lillà Bello Studio in 2004…

Bride & Bloom featured one of our Real Weddings in the latest Winter Issue. Emily & Pete’s event was classic beach-chic.  A Tiffany-blue palette and perfect oceanside location of Shutters on the Beach created pure SoCal perfection. Emily is absolutely stunning! Every little detail was orchestrated by our Kelly, who also designed the event in conjunction with the wonderful Toby of Lilla Bello. Our fave detail was the adorable blue boxes filled with Krispy Kreme donuts as a favor for guests! And, Emily’s biggest piece of advice to brides in the article is to “hire a planner”!  A true testament to Kelly *loves*

So, we are about a week (or so) late on this one!  What happened? Bridal Market Week happened.  Anyway, the Wedding Chicks recently posted one of our summer weddings at Caramoor, shot by the always wonderful and talented Chris Humphreys.  Check it .  Apparently, we were also quoted in the NY Daily News last week… thanks.

As we mentioned last week, Kelly produced and designed a beautiful wedding this past weekend at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica.  Everything was so gorgeous!  The lovely flowers were provided by the amazing Lilla Bello.  Fabulous paper by Sugar Paper.  Just can’t get enough of the family-style table and classic silver and Tiffany blue palette.  

As mentioned a few weeks back, we had a lovely wedding at Caramoor with our faves Chris & Katie Humphreys.  Well, they have outdone themselves again with these incredible images.  There are more images also posted on their blog and a super sweet mention about us!  xo

Another Tuesday, another throwback LHE wedding.  This lovely event was held at the Ritz Battery Park.  Floral by the always-fabulous Matthew Robbins.  We adore the images, from Shane Carpenter, of the couple walking thru Battery Park.  Gorgeous.

As wedding season is in full swing, we thought that we’d do a weekly throwback series of past events that we have never highlighted on the blog.   Today’s wedding took place at the bride’s family’s summer home in Fenwick, CT and is one of our all-time faves.  Check out the combination of lovely photos by both Ty MIlford and Shane Carpenter.  Truly the perfect summer New England wedding, with a hint of California–the bride owns her own company designing surfing apparel.  Enjoy!
