Daily Inspiration

I am so thankful today for this amazing year.  I know, you must be saying that 2009 sucked! But, personally (and even professionally), it was incredible for me. My daughter was born this year.  That tops my list for amazing. I produced one of my all-time favorite weddings to date with the most graceful, wonderful bride, who I now consider a friend. We were able to buy a country home in Connecticut near my family, while still maintaining our apartment and life in Manhattan. I am beyond grateful for my amazing co-workers: Carrie, Kelly, and Noah. They make LHE possible. They put their hearts, souls, and all of their energy into every event. I could not ask for better individuals to work beside and call my dearest friends. My deepest, most sincere thanks to them. And, to my healthy family, my husband who spent the first half of this year dealing with a pregnant me (not fun). My friends, who I also consider family–I have the best in the world. I am thankful that I am able to wake up each day and feel that running my business is not so much work, as something I am lucky enough to be able to do successfully, especially in the uncertainty of today’s economy. I am thankful for what’s ahead. I can only imagine the wonderful things to come in 2010. For those of you who read our blog, visit our website, or check-in once in a while on Twitter, thanks for reading about our events and for your support.  And for caring enough to take a look into our lives.  Happy Thanksgiving. xx
