Just like Candy…

These dresses are adorable and perfect for a wedding.  SarahSeven is an independent bridal designer at Etsy from Portland–loving all-things Portland lately: music, art, and now fashion–such a hub for creativity and authenticity. I am thinking these dresses are such a better take on the often-awful bridesmaid dress.  Because who really wants to wear something that: (1) has way too much fabric (2) is the wrong color (3) and looks tired.  Not me. Not you.  And definitely not your bridesmaids. These scream whimsy, flirty, fun, a little hipster, and most importantly wearable–that is, wearable after the wedding!  Of course, these dresses are not for every wedding; yet, perfect for a summer, beach.y, mellow wedding.  Or, maybe just a cocktail dress if you are a guest?  Just a thought…

PS.  For the bride, check out the Marilyn veil (last image) at Austie’s Etsy shop.  Loves. It.

I have just discovered SarahSeven as well, and I am IN LOVE. As I have already purchased my wedding gown, I may have to use her for my rehearsal dinner frock! Great post!
