Even though its Halloween…

I am already getting excited about Christmas. New York is a fantastic place to be during the holiday season. I was scanning through the blogs and I came across very cute gift wrap on Etsy. Beautiful wrapping paper makes any gift better, proper presentation is key, regardless of circumstance. The unique tags are icing on the cake.

Real wedding I love from Style Me Pretty

I highly recommend you go and check out the fabulous event Style Me Pretty featured last week. The wedding is by Oh How Charming, and I was immediately impressed. The fabulous images are from Docuvitae. I love the dessert bar, with cupcakes from Vanilla Bake Shop. All of the special touches and details are perfect. The silver table settings and white orchid are so classically chic. There are a ton of images on Style Me Pretty, so make sure not to miss it.  The location, Paramour, is one of our favorite locations in Los Angeles!

Vintage Stamps

Last week I posted about Greer Chicago, a stationery provider based in Chicago. Their website sold envelopes already affixed with vintage stamps. I really loved this idea, so I decided to search the internet for stamps. It turns out that stamps are easy to find, but you have to sift through a lot to find really good looking ones, but they are out there. From what I’ve read online, sometimes you can actually buy old stamps for face value. If the stamps are from the 70’s and 80’s you can get pretty solid prices if you search on Ebay. Below are the envelopes featured on Greer’s website, and a couple of cute stamps I found on Ebay.

Great looking invitations from CECI New York

I recently received an invitation for an industry event, and I was extremely impressed by the design. It came as no surprise to me that Ceci New York provided the stationery. I’m sure my readers know, I love Ceci. Anyhow, I decided to go check out the site and find some samples to include on the blog. Ceci’s work is all about the details, and the invitations I chose are a perfect example. The typography is dramatic, iconic and distinct, this is exactly what you should be looking for in an invitation.

Real wedding Santa Barbara (Part 3)

Here is my final piece about our event in Santa Barbara. This time around my images are focusing on the table arrangements and floral at the ceremony. I just wanted to quickly give another shout out to Mindy Rice for the floral, and Aaron Delesie for providing the images.

Greer Chicago

I was surfing the internet, looking for new ideas and inspiration, when I stumbled across this company. Greer Chicago’s website has a ton of great looking custom and non-custom stationery. They carry a ton of brands, and have loads of unique cards. I am obsessed with cards, like birthday cards, I send them out to every acquaintance on every occasion. This is something I was encouraged to do growing up, and I have just kept with it. Personal stationery is a fantastic touch for any household, its just classic. If any of you out there have actually shopped at Greer  I would love to hear about it. One of the most interesting ideas on the site were the little thank you notes, which they suggest you give away in your everyday life, this is very cute. Here are a few items that I liked. I almost forgot to mention the postage stamps, below you will see envelopes with numerous stamps on them, these envelopes have been affixed with an artful selection of vintage stamps and they are good to mail.
